The Ocean Conference – side event on Integrated Ocean Observing


AtlantOS will conduct a side event entitled ‘Alliances for Integrated Ocean Observing and Information Services Supporting the Implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 14’ during the ‘The Ocean Conference’ that will take from 5 – 9 June in New York, US. The side event will take place at 8 June from 9:00 – 10:30 AM at the UN Headquarters in New York in Conference Room 6 in the UN Conference Building. The side event is initiated by lead organizer: GEOMAR Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel, on behalf of the EU Project AtlantOS, and global organization partners: Global Ocean Observing System (GOOS), Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission of UNESCO (IOC), Scientific Committee on Oceanic Research (SCOR), GODAE OceanView, Copernicus Marine Environmental Monitoring Service, TPOS 2020 project, Group on Earth Observation (GEO), Global Ocean Acidification Observing Network (GOA-ON), 2nd International Indian Ocean Expedition (IIOE-2), Ocean Biogeographic Information System (OBIS).
