ACRI-ST is an SME, established in Sophia-Antipolis, France, for more than 20 years. ACRI-ST is a supplier of space agencies in all phases of Earth Observation missions (simulation of space-based sensors, operational chains of spatial data processing, processing and archiving centre, provision of Copernicus services to end users), performs research activities related to theoretical and numerical fluid dynamics, geophysics and ocean modelling, develops and operates information services related to the surveillance and forecast of the Earth environment. In 2010, ACRI-ST and LOV (Laboratoire d’Océanographie de Villefranche) merged their research activities on ocean colour through a “Groupement d’Intérêt Scientifique” (GIS) called COOC (for “COlour of the OCean”) which is the basement of a scientific cluster addressing ocean colour sensing, algorithms, calibration/validation and applications. The tasks that will be carried out by ACRI-ST in the frame of the project are dedicated to the setting up and operation of quality control in delayed mode for bio-optical observations: Chlorophyll, diffuse attenuation and NO3.
