The University of Exeter combines world class research with excellent student satisfaction at its campuses in Exeter and Cornwall. The UNEXE team is based in the College of Life and Environmental Sciences (CLES) at the University of Exeter, within the Geography department. This is one of the most successful Geography departments in the UK, with an excellent reputation for both teaching and research. The UNEXE team for AtlantOS has participated in many previous European projects (COCOS, ORFOIS, Greencycles, FIXO3), including as co-ordinator (IMCORP, CAVASSOO), Core Theme leader and WP leader (CarboOcean, GEOCARBON). The team members, who have recently relocated from the University of East Anglia, are world leaders in precision observations of the marine carbonate system and transient tracers in the oceans, as well as in the observations of air-sea fluxes of carbon dioxide.
